Zab Mustefa is a contributor to Al Jazeera. Many of her articles are about things that are currently going on in the Middle East. She only has five articles with Al Jazeera so far. The majority of Mustefa's articles have to do with some type of art. One article is about street art in Jordan and another about Muslim girls fencing against Islamophobia. Mustefa writes mostly for people who are into different kinds of art and creativity. Suhaib Attar is an artist in Jordan with the main goal of bringing more people in Jordan to art. The two Muslim girls are "challenging stereotypes about young Muslim women in the UK" by fencing with each other. Their challenge is creative and a new way to solve a problem. To me, Mustefa has a personal purpose for writing about there topics. Her articles tend to be very informative and serious. She cares a lot about what she is writing about. For example, in the "Muslim girls fence against Islamophobia in the UK" article, she writes, "Chohan and Saeed belong to the more experienced group of fencers who have been practicing their skills for a few months and now help out as mentors in the additional series of workshops, as part of the 'Muslim Girls Fence' project launched by the community-based NGO, Maslaha." She knows this because she has researched this topic a lot and in dept. Mustefa even has actual dialogue that the girls were using in class. She has done great work for Al Jazeera and will do a lot more in the future. Check out her Twitter and articles linked down below!
